UAW, GM Contract Talks At Key Plant Resume Monday - 1/28/2012 12:55am
Negotiations are to resume Monday between the UAW and General Motors for a new local contract at a Kansas assembly plant, a UAW official said. The resumption of talks comes after employees at the plant authorized their union leaders to call a strike. UAW Local 31 President George Ruiz said 90% of members who voted favored authorizing a strike while 10% were opposed.
